Hand crafted Longbows, arrows and leather equipment

I have always been interested in archery since a young age: i have grown up with some fantastic longbow archers!

I started where most longbow archers do: helping my dad make our arrows, and then progressed into visiting friends who made longbows and even help me working on my own bow.

Sadly after he passed, one of his bows started with a crack: I asked around if anyone would be able to repair it, but no one was interested.

A good friend told me I had the skills to do it if no one else would why don’t I?

Here was born the longbow making side: I started out making them for myself, my dad and partner to shoot: throughout, improving on my designs and trying out new woods.

My father used to make all the strings, I thought i should do this myself and set about learning.

In the mean time, the quiver I have had for 20 year or more, the strap strap broke so asked around to see if i could get it repaired and again no luck: so when i was on holiday in Scotland, we called into a little shop that did bespoke leather work, and asked for some advice: the owner, Steve gave me some great ideas

: bought some bits from him! Off I went and the leather work was born!

After creating things for friends and family, I started Wolfsbane Traditional Archery Equipment

I have been taking orders at competitions and other shoots, and was badgered about a website: So here we go!
